This page will hopefully answer all of your race day questions. There is also a map at the bottom of this page which shows the course, parking, and other important information.
- When should I show up? By 8:30am is recommended in order to get numbers assigned to everyone.
- Where do I park? Parking will be at the high school behind the gym. Volunteers will be available to direct traffic. Runners, walkers, and spectators should arrive before 9am, because traffic will cross over the course.
- Where do I get my race number? Race numbers will be distributed inside the high school cafeteria.
- Where are the start and finish lines? The start and finish lines are very close to each other. They are located on the northwest corner of the parking lot, which is an easy walk from the cafeteria.
- What can I expect from the cross country course? The course starts out on a pavement going around the high school. Then up ‘graffiti hill’ and left onto more street running through neighborhoods. Then an asphalt path in the woods behind the football fields and up a hill toward Cushing School. A sharp left is taken on a dirt path through the woods toward the high school. Coming out of the path, leads to a grass field toward the finish line. Remember, this is a 2 loop course, so all runners and walkers get to run the same route again.
- What if I get lost on the course? You won’t get lost. There will be volunteers everywhere along the course.
- What if I’m a spectator and just want to watch? The best place to watch is at the start and finish line. A runners and walkers will start, pass by after their first loop, and finish there.
- Where are the restrooms? Restrooms are located inside the gym entrance.
